Don't You Forget About Me

Feels like it's been a while. Life has been busy, some things good some not so but that is life. If everything were good all of the time, we simply wouldn't appreciate the good as we should. So, I banged out a couple of small flea market finds that I'll share and that is pretty much it. I miss painting so much when I don't have the time for it. I know you can relate.

Gawdy 70's gold mirror.

My favorite blue paint.

And a little charcoal glaze.

Where I spent happy time w/ my favorite people.

Hiking!

Luray Caverns in Virginia

Yup, we tourists from Jersey pulled over and mooed at these guys!
Free for me!

Painted a pretty aqua blue and added some rose buds.

Changed out the lions head pulls for these pretty flowers....$8.00 for 6 at Home Goods...yay!
Thanks for popping in and not forgetting about me!

Never! Glad you could take a break with family. Looks like fun! Mooing at cows and all :) I bet they appreciated that.
Your mirror is just right! The glaze brings out all the detail. Cute box, too. I didn't realize Home Goods sold hardware. Our HG is over an hour away so I don't go very often.
Welcome back!

Love the mirror and the bin! The colors are great! I haven't seen a charcoal glaze before, but I love it.
