Found this little beauty at the flea market. It was in rough shape but it had a great shape.....beautiful lines and carvings. The olive green paint job with a streaky stain wiped haphazardly over it was in need of a serious make over.
Some of the lower drawers were missing trim. I yanked off the remaining trim only to find the missing trim in one of the drawers minutes later....ugh! Not happy and big lesson learned! I went ahead and filled the gaps left by the yanked off trim with Quik Wood, love this stuff, and sanded it smooth.
Sanded, primed and painted in fresh, light colors....
What a difference paint can make.

And your transformation of it is gorgeous - I'm working with that color right now too - ( is that a mix of duck egg blue and white ascp? )

Wow!!! This is amazing. You did a beautiful job. I am having a difficult time in knowing how to fix wooden filigree work when there is a piece missing. Any suggestions?
