Lazy Blogger

Wow...it has been a long time! Happy 2013 to all of you! More than anything I wish you peace in the new year. Peace is huge.

So, I've been busy and blogging hasn't been very high on the priority list. I've been focusing on my Etsy shop. Sales were pretty slow in December and I'm hoping they'll pick up in the new year.

I'd like to share with you a few of my favorite latest furniture redos. I am obsessed and sometimes I think I'm letting other parts of my life get away from me. Does anyone else feel like that?

Here we go...

Dusty but super cute. Add a little ASCP in Old White...

This dresser is one of my favorites. It was a fantastic flea market find circa 1920's.

I refinished the top in dark walnut and painted the body in French Gray.

I had this shapely coffee table laying around for a while. Coffee tables are hard to sell for me. They're pricey to ship so I usually put them on Craigslist.

I listed it in my Etsy shop but then decided maybe I'll keep it for me. It's on reserve until I make up my mind. It's awfully cute and goes nice in my family room.

Lastly a dated gold mirror that I dry brushed w/ Paris Gray and dark waxed. I like to add mineral spirits to dark wax so it goes on more like a glaze. That's just my personal preference and what I'm used to.

Peace to all of you in the new year!

Thanks for popping in...... Sue

Sue, it is so hard to balance it all, it seems I get my online store stocked, then my booth is empty, then it's time to write a blog post...But how great that our lives are filled with things we love! Your redo's are fabulous, I love that mirror. If you ever get a chance to write a blog post on shipping I would love it. I have always shied away from selling large items on line, because I have no idea how to ship them?
